Blackmore's Night joins paths with Spinefarm Records

Blackmore's Night, the renaissance-inspired rock band formed by Ritchie Blackmore and his wife Candice Night, will release their new album "Autumn Sky" on September 3rd through Spinefarm Records / Universal Music.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, the band has gained cross over success all over the world with its fantastic medieval and renaissance inspired tunes.

"Autumn Sky" brings us 15 new Blackmore's Night songs, full of emotion with a touch of past times and magical atmospheres, again being a powerful proof of the versatility of Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night's repertoire.

Recorded during Candice's pregnancy, Candice and Ritchie have dedicated the "Autumn Sky" album to their newly born daughter Autumn Esmerelda Blackmore.

AMARANTHE signs with Spinefarm/Universal!

AMARANTHE have just inked a record deal with Spinefarm/Universal for the release of their debut album, tentatively out early next year.

Commented guitarist Olof Mörck: "After talking to several of the highest profile labels Spinefarm completely outdid them all, most importantly through the understanding they've shown towards what we are trying to acheive as a band, musically and visually. The deal we have struck will enable us to take the band to levels we have yet only dreamt of, and beyond! You can expect a HUGE release that is bound some send tremors throughout the metal world early 2011!"

Spinefarm meets THE STORM!

Spinefarm Records has signed Danish act The Storm!

”Black Luck” is the second album for the Storm and it will be released on October 27th.

Since the band was found 2006 it has been one of the most successful and renowned bands in Denmark among the media and music fans. The Storm consists of e charismatic vocalist Pernille Rosendahl (ex-Swan Lee) and Johan Wohlert (ex-Mew)

Their debut album ”Where the Storm Meets the Ground” has sold platinum in Denmark. The album was produced by Roy Thomas Baker who is well known from his work with artists like Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crüe and Guns N’Roses.

The new ”Black Luck” album was produced by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Hatesphere) and Volbeat-vocalist Michael Poulsen is also featured on the album as a co-vocalist. In return Pernilla has been a guest vocalist on Volbeat's ”Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood”-album.

Spinefarm Records on kiinnittänyt tanskalaisen The Stormin! The Stormin kakkosalbumi ”Black Luck” julkaistaan Suomessa lokakuussa.

Perustamisestaan, vuodesta 2006, lähtien The Storm on ollut yksi Tanskan menestyneimmistä ja suosituimmista kotimaisista poprock-yhtyeistä ja bändi nauttii suurta suosiota niin fanien kuin kriitikoidenkin keskuudessa. The Stormin muodostavat karismaattinen solisti Pernille Rosendahl (ex-Swan Lee) ja Johan Wohlert (ex-Mew).
